Drenched in winter sun

What a stunning morning out here on Whitemoor. Cool and damp yet fresh and invigorating. The rising winter sun saturates the colours of dead leaves and warms the palette of the scene.

That silver birch looks full of exuberance, arms held high in a gleeful morning greeting as it leans towards the group of neighbouring trees. I imagine it jumping up and down saying, ‘Hi! Hi! Hi!’ to everyone.

Kind of how I feel in this gorgeous sunshine.

It’s a good job no-one else is around.
