Community and connection
Untidy? Chaotic?
Yes!
But I saw the sunlight on these trees and was drawn in to take a shot of them – squelching through some mud and climbing a small bank to do so.
I loved the delicate lines of light on their slender trunks, distinguishing them from one another and highlighting what looked like a dense network of interconnected branches. While each stood in their own right, they seemed committed to their community.
The dappled light on the carpet of leaves was also appealing, its colours complementing the lovely blue sky. Even the cloud seemed to sit well in the scene, offering a lovely pure white reference point to bring out all the other colours, shades and tones.
