Heading down to the stream

Hmm, I wonder if there’s a bit of a melancholic feel to this shot. My daughter’s posture here brings to mind those affecting head and shoulder portraits seen on posters at train stations advertising The Samaritans. Her head is down, shoulders hunched, body turned away from the camera. 

Yet she wasn't sad. She was happily exploring in the winter sunshine. And just out of the frame was a stream that she joyously ran up and down several times just for the fun of it. 

I must try that myself sometime!
