Winter sun transformation

How the sun transforms objects in its path. Its light on these trees made an immediate impact, drawing me in and causing me to stare in wonder. 

How beautifully it lifts the scene – bringing out the colours, creating attractive shadows and highlighting trees full of character. 

Shame about the fence! It’s there to keep deer and ponies out of Pondhead Inclosure on the other side. But let’s not dwell on the fence! Focus instead on the light on those trees and the stunning contrasts created by the winter sun.
