A place to prevail

What on earth happened to this tree? I noticed it as I was riding past and thought, ‘Hang on!?’

The forest is full of tangled branches and twigs but I don’t think I’ve seen anything so acute. Clearly something drastic happened to it at some point – a life-defining change.

And yet it has prevailed. And it doesn’t look out of place in its community. In fact it looks quite at home – just the place for it to recover and grow.

Incredible!
