Into the misty air

A track in the New Forest leads through the trees to area of open ground full misty air in the early sunrise.

A stunning early morning’s ride. It was the misty air beyond the trees that made me want to capture this moment. You can only just make it out here unfortunately. But it was very atmospheric. 

Up ahead on the track, I turned right through a gate and went deeper into the forest. It was mostly peaceful at 7 am. The chatter of birds kept me company. It all sounded cheery and conversational. 

The sky loomed large overhead. I was pleased to see it again after a few days of cloud cover. The stillness of the forest was quite the contrast to my anxious mind. It was good to get out.
